Where all do you ship?

Urbanns.com accepts only domestic orders. We ship to almost all cities, town and districts of India. AT PRESENT OUR SHIPPING SERVICE IS AVAILABLE ONLY WITHIN INDIA.

Is it free shipping? If no what are the shipping charges?

We do not offer free shipping. At present shipping is charged at a flat rate of INR 75 per order irrespective of value or number of items ordered. International shipping charges will vary as per the order weight, volume, country and other specifications.

What quality assurance is guaranteed?

We value each customer who visits our website. Each order placed on our portal is of due importance. We take utmost care to execute the order placed right from matching the barcode to product specifications (size, colour, design etc) mentioned while placing the order. Thorough quality check is executed for any defects or damages before packaging. Quality, durable, water proof packaging material is used to package and deliver the goods to customers. However in case of any discrepancy or disconnect with the order placed please feel free to write us at contact@urbanns.com with the order details. We would resolve the same.

Who bears the courier charges in case an order is returned?

In case of returned goods the courier charge has to be borne by the customer. Urbanns.com will not be responsible for the same. We sincerely advise to avail the service of a professional courier company with online tracking facility for ease of co-ordination between both the parties.

Why should I bear the courier charge to return an incorrect execution of order?

If there is a genuine mismatch in the order placed and executed then after thorough check and cross verification the return courier charges of a stipulated amount will be borne by us.

How many days will it take to deliver the order within India?

Our goal is to deliver quality and right product at the right time. We strive to deliver within 5-6 working days in metro cities; within 6-8 working days in non-metro cities; within 8-10 working days in districts, towns and other places. The delivery may happen earlier than the time mentioned. However keeping various factors like stock position we would like you to consider the above mentioned time frame between placing and receiving the order.

Kindly consider the following as well:

  • com will not be responsible to provide guaranteed delivery if the customer is not present at the delivery address to take the delivery.
  • Delivery may get delayed due to unforeseen circumstances like bad weather, flight delays, political disruptions or any other unforeseen circumstances.
  • Some delay may happen depending on the accessibility of the shipping address by our logistics partners.
  • Kindly keep Sundays, public and national holidays under consideration

We would keep you updated on the status and processing of the order at any point in time.

How many days will it take to deliver internationally?

Our international shipping service is yet to start. We will be updating the information once it is on.

Who are the courier service providers?

We avail the services of the most reliable and leading logistic companies to ensure safe and timely delivery of your order(s). You can track your order status online post the order is shipped. Currently we are availing the service of Fedex, Delhivery and India Post.

What if the item is not delivered?

In case of non-delivery of the item ordered we request you to send us an email on contact@urbanns.com with the order details. To resolve the same we will follow the following steps:

  1. Check the dispatch and delivery details on our server
  2. Re-check the address, contact number and other details with the customer
  3. Follow up with the courier service provider and revert the customer with the same information
  4. If the courier service provider acknowledges negligence at their end the customer has full right to cancel the order and we will refund the amount
  5. If the courier service provider says that the item has been delivered and produces the signed copy of the receiver we will scan and send the same to the customer and request the customer to cross-verify at their end
  6. Please do not panic. We assure to provide the right assistance and service in case of any such event

Can I ask the delivery to happen on a specific day and time?

In case of such kind of requirement we need to check with the courier service provider keeping the address; city; country details as well as other miscellaneous factors under consideration.

Can the billing and shipping address be different?

Yes the billing and shipping address can be different.

Should I receive the packet if it is tampered or damaged at the time of delivery?

Kindly judge and see. If it appears to be a minor external thing and you think it is just on the surface you can try to go ahead and accept the order. However if the packet appears to be torn, tampered or seems to be mishandled do not accept the same. We request you to click the image of the same (photograph of the damaged packet will help in faster resolution of the matter) and email us at contact@urbanns.com while informing about the same.

How can I track my order?

You can track your order by visiting our Track Your Order option in the website. Fill in the invoice details and others as mentioned. To have a proper status of the delivery you can also visit the courier service providers’ website and check in their tracking section.

What if I want an order to be executed urgently? Delivery in two days or so?

In case of such kind of requirement we need to check with the courier service provider keeping the address; city; country details as well as other miscellaneous factors under consideration.

Is there Cash on Delivery option?

We do not offer cash on delivery service. Kindly check the payment options in our website.

I am going out of town urgently?  Can you hold the dispatch of the order?

If an order is placed and already dispatched then it cannot be withdrawn. If not received at the customers end it will come back to us. We will co-ordinate with the customer and re-schedule for delivery. The second time courier charge also has to be borne by the customer. If the re-scheduled delivery has to happen beyond 4 days it would be difficult to accept the product for return.

Common terms used in tracking

There are certain standard notifications and terminologies used in the tracking software of courier service providers. They are as follows:

IN TRANSIT: Order is on its way

HOLD AT HUB: Order was tried to be delivered. Not received. We will try again

RTO IN TRANSIT: Order was undelivered because of a certain reason. It is on its way back to our warehouse.

OUT FOR DELIVERY: Order has reached the city. Will be out for dispatch soon.
